Clark Hill Labor & Employment attorney Paul Starkman recently appeared on WBBM News Radio “Coronavirus Isolation Order Extended: What Now?” to share his knowledge on employment rules and how they've adapted during the COVID-19 outbreak. Starkman said that under the new rules, employees who have been furloughed will be entitled to unemployment. He also mentioned that employers are who considered essential businesses are required to provide safe work places for their employees, which may include extra cleaning and protective gear.
