Clark Hill Chicago to Host Diversity and Inclusion Seminar and Reception

Clark Hill’s Chicago office will host the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and American Bar Association’s (ABA) State and Local Government Law Section annual diversity and inclusion seminar and reception, on February 26, 2020 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, with a cocktail reception to follow.  The seminar, “Beyond Diversity and Inclusion: What is Implicit Bias and its Socioeconomic Impact on the Legal Community?” will feature Clark Hill attorney Sarah Wariner, a partner in the firm’s Litigation group based in Collin County, Texas.  Other panelists include Jamila Jefferson-Jones, Associate Professor, University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law and Interim Director, Black Studies Program, University of Missouri Kansas City, College of Arts and Sciences and Juan Thomas, Of Counsel, Quintairos, Prietro, Wood & Boyer.  Nina Fain, Trust Counsel at JSS Family Trusts and CBA Board of Managers, will moderate, and Ray Koenig, Managing Partner of Clark Hill’s Chicago office, will make opening remarks.

The program will include interactive training on the challenges legal professionals face on a daily basis: how to interrupt implicit biases, its sub-categories, and its socioeconomic impact on the legal community. To read the full agenda and to register, please click here.
