CHICAGO – Clark Hill Chicago Attorneys Ray J. Koenig III and MacKenzie A. Hyde presented at the CELA Review Course offered by National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys on Thursday, February 6 at Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont, Illinois.
Koenig and Hyde co-presented “Defending Your Principals,” discussing the representation of agents under powers of attorney and advance directives, to a national audience of attorneys seeking certification as elder law attorneys.
Koenig is the managing member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office and a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
Hyde is an associate attorney in the Litigation Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office. Hyde concentrates in contested guardianships and estates as well as fiduciary litigation and estate administration. Hyde represents individuals, medical institutions and financial institutions in all areas of her practice. Hyde is frequently appointed by the Probate Court to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in guardianship cases.
