Stadler is a Member in Clark Hill’s Labor & Employment practice group in the firm’s Grand Rapids, Michigan office. He represents private and public sector management interests in labor and employment relations matters including: collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, strikes, lockouts, civil rights charges, Family and Medical Leave Act compliance and disputes, wage and hour compliance and investigations, WARN compliance, employment terminations, workforce reductions, employment policies, practices and procedures, and other labor and employment-related matters involving federal and state labor and employment laws.
Stadler is a member of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association and the Grand Rapids Bar Association and each of their labor and employment law sections. Stadler is also a member of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section’s Committee on Fair Labor Standards Legislation which focuses on wage and hour laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act, WARN and the Polygraph Protection Act.

Paterson is an Associate with the Labor and Employment Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Grand Rapids office. Paterson focuses her practice on defending employers before the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Employment Relations Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. She has experience advising employers on employment matters including disciplinary matters, handbook and policy reviews, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and unemployment insurance.
