Clark Hill attorney Mike Nowlan was recently quoted in Forbes’ “USCIS Disputes Improperly Denying 900 H-1B Visa Registrations.” The article discusses concerns raised by attorneys after discovering that many foreign-born professionals were denied an opportunity at one of the H-1B petitions for H-1B visa holders. USCIS revealed the scope of the denials was larger than initially thought, and attorneys believe there are problems with USCIS’s system.
“We see no duplicates in our corporate client’s registration page or on ours... Right now, it looks like USCIS is dug in on the issue,” Nowlan said.
