Clark Hill Attorney Joann Needleman Featured on NPR Marketplace

February 13, 2020

Joann Needleman, member and leader of the firm's Consumer Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance group at Clark Hill, was recently featured on NPR Marketplace commenting on New York Federal Reserve’s quarterly report on household debt report.

For the first time ever, U.S. household debt has topped $14 trillion. Additionally, the report shows the 22nd consecutive quarter of rising household debt in the U.S.

This enormous debt is occurring because of what the Fed calls “serious delinquency” – or being 90 days past due on a bill. Needleman outlines the risks of serious delinquency in this spot. Listen to her full commentary here.
