Clark Hill Attorney Eric Hocky to Present at ASLRRA’s Annual Meeting – April 5, 2016
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Clark Hill attorney Eric M. Hocky, a Member in Clark Hill’s Transportation Practice Group, will present at the Annual Meeting of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA). Hocky, currently the chair of ASLRRA’s General Counsel Committee, will moderate and speak on the panel “Managing Today’s Oversupply of Railcars” on April 5, 2016 in National Harbor, Maryland.
The hour-long session will address the legal ramifications for railroads of owning and leasing too many railcars in a down business cycle, and on the other hand the possible opportunities offered to railroads that may have excess track capacity available for railcar storage.
Hocky’s practice focuses on a variety of transportation matters relating primarily to railroads and their shippers. He has over 30 years of experience representing railroads and other transportation interests throughout the United States on a variety of matters before federal and state regulatory agencies, and in their everyday business affairs.
Hocky is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, various federal courts and before the U.S. Surface Transportation Board, and is resident in Clark Hill’s Philadelphia office.
