Clark Hill Attorney Carl Shusterman Quoted in The New York Times on the Immigration Suspension

Senior Counsel Carl Shusterman was quoted in an article titled "Sizing Up Trump's Green-Card Halt: Is It Just Temporary?" in The New York Times. The proclamation from last week had some exemptions but may not apply to all health care workers – a decision made by embassies and consulates, Shusterman said. To view the article, click here.

Shusterman has over 40 years of experience practicing immigration law. He served as a Trial Attorney for US Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) from 1976 until 1982 when he entered the private practice of law. Shusterman has testified as an expert witness before the Senate Immigration Subcommittee in Washington, DC. He is one of the very limited number of attorneys who has been designated as Certified Specialists in Immigration and Naturalization Law by the California State Bar.
