Zara H. Torosyan is an Associate Attorney with the Construction Practice Group in Clark Hill's Phoenix office.
Zara regularly advises architects, engineers, contractors, and other clients from technology-driven industries in a variety of complex commercial construction litigation. Zara’s goal is to understand her clients’ needs and then to plan, design, and implement strategies to address those needs. Zara was selected as a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2018 to 2020.
Zara’s background encompasses a wide range of civil litigation, including, general insurance defense, construction-defect, complex commercial litigation, HOA disputes, municipal liability, premises liability, declaratory actions, medical malpractice defense, and contract dispute.
Zara graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Arizona State University. Zara then earned her Juris Doctorate from ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Law Science & Technology and served as a Center Scholar at ASU's Center for Law, Science, and Innovation. She also served as a judicial extern to Honorable Judge Susan Bolton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
Zara currently serves on the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel Board of Directors, a non-profit organization dedicated to education and awareness of the positive aspects of the legal profession. A native of Armenia, Zara is fluent in both Armenian and Russian.
