As a litigator, Zach represents companies, boards of directors, and business owners in resolving disputes with shareholders, employees, vendors, and competing businesses. Zach counsels clients in many areas of business and the law including the enforcement of purchase/sale agreements, real estate, construction, borrower default, insurance claims, and internal investigations. He also advises and defends employers faced with claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and the enforcement of non-competition and non-solicitation agreement. Zach devotes considerable time to advising and defending businesses accused of violating the Telephone Consumer Protect Act (“TCPA”) while also working with his clients to avoid litigation by ensuring compliance with all applicable TCPA regulations.
Beyond his experience as an advocate for businesses, Zach also advises individuals in a variety of disputes, including claims arising out of real estate contracts, landlord/tenant relationships, employment agreements, Registrar of Contractors complaints, and navigating inquiries by state and federal agencies.
In his legislative and government affairs practice, Zach advises political candidates, prospective candidates, and political committees in all aspects of state and federal election law. He represents state and federal candidates through every stage of a pollical campaign, from preparing to run for office to post-election challenges. Zach also counsels corporations and political committees on compliance with state and federal campaign finance law, including the intricacies of registration, spending, and reporting requirements.
