Through her experience in insurance coverage work, Soraya has developed a robust knowledge of the issues presently facing her clients most. Particularly, Soraya is knowledgeable on the evolving law surrounding the unique issue of how global health pandemics affect healthcare provider and employer liability.
In addition to her work in insurance coverage, Soraya is a member of the firm’s Retail Industry Go-To-Market team, in which she focuses on developing the vision, goals and priorities for the firm’s Retail industry, identifies industry growth potential, and participates in team training sessions.
Outside of her day-to-day work, Soraya volunteers her time to exoneration and clemency work and participates in workshops to provide basic civil rights education to the broader Chicago community.
