Sameen Ahmadnia is an Associate in Clark Hill's Immigration practice group. Sameen’s practice focuses on removal defense, as well as affirmative benefits before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and US Consulates abroad. Sameen is proficient in asylum, removal defense, waivers, and family immigration. She has represented hundreds of clients before the USCIS, and in immigration court. She also has experience in employment-based immigration, including H1-B petitions, national interest waivers, and O-1 visas. Prior to joining Clark Hill, she worked for boutique immigration firms in Washington, DC.
Sameen graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She went on to receive her J.D. at the George Washington University Law School. She was awarded the Manuel and Ana Maria Benitez Award for Clinical Excellence in Immigration and Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Gold Level for volunteering over 250 hours of service during her education. She has been invited as a speaker on a number of panels regarding immigration issues. Sameen is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and currently serves as the 2020-2021 Asylum Liaison for the Southern California Chapter.
