His experience advising clients regarding insurance coverage spans a variety of contexts and includes preparation of coverage opinions in individual cases, drafting of reservation of rights letters and declination letters, and providing advice during policy drafting process.

Peter supports the management of high exposure cases by working with the Insureds and their counsel to develop defense strategies, recommending appropriate experts to address standard of care, causation and damages issues, and participating in settlement negotiations.

He also supports the underwriting of new and existing accounts through risk assessment audits. These entail a review of pertinent legal environment both in terms of applicable law as well as trends in settlements and verdicts, an assessment of risk management and claims management practices, and commentary on the adequacy of case reserves.
