Paul W. Boehms

Practice Group Director

Paul W. Boehms is a Practice Group Director of Clark Hill's Labor & Employment and Real Estate Groups. Paul is responsible for the daily operations of both groups as well as strategic planning, business development, recruiting and retention. He has extensive experience developing operational excellence within large organizations in the manufacturing, health care, and professional services industries.

At Clark Hill, Paul continues to advise clients on all areas of operations improvement and organizational design. He helps entrepreneurs design and develop business processes and organize their workforce to accelerate growth and profitability. Other areas of focus include company valuations, re-organizations, and executive coaching.

Paul came to Clark Hill with over 15 years of experience at Deloitte serving in client service, financial, and operational roles. As a member of the Strategy & Operations practice, he served Fortune 500 clients from the shop floor to the C-Suite through strategic program management, post-merger integration, and operational excellence projects. Paul led the re-integration of the finance organization of an $8 billion automotive acquisition bringing in multiple production and engineering facilities under a new operating agreement and business processes. In addition, he earned his Enterprise Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt by delivering more than five million dollars worth of cost savings and revenue enhancements at manufacturing clients.

Paul has also held several financial leadership positions at Deloitte, including the Global Controller for the firm’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Service practice which represented more than $12 billion in annual revenue. In this role, he was responsible for the financial planning and analysis, for the member firm consolidated financial statements, setting the groups global rate structure for cross border engagements, and managed a multi-million dollar program budget for the global functional team.

This role evolved into an Associate Director of Operations and Growth role where Paul oversaw the financial and operational aspects of the global audit team. While leading the daily operational activities, Paul helped develop and execute the global strategic plan for the Audit practice. In addition, he developed a program to win Fortune Global 500 clients for the Audit practice leveraging best practices from within the global network.
