Orla’s workload covers a range of real estate transactional work, including the sale, acquisition and leasing of commercial and residential properties. She also carries out extensive work in probate and family law matters. With more than 30 years of legal experience acting for commercial and private clients, her high-profile roles have included serving as president of the Dublin Solicitors’ Bar Association (DSBA) and chairperson of both the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) and the Rent Tribunal. She was recently appointed by the Irish government as a member of the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority for a five-year term. As Chairperson of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Committee until 2021 and currently as a member, she has an in-depth knowledge and experience of property law and complex transactions.
