Natalie A. Remien
Natalie A. Remien brings more than 20 years of experience, regularly advising companies on all aspects of intellectual property, with a focus on strategic development, management, and enforcement of brands, through trademarks. Her in-house representation of a multinational company, coupled with her experience at both large law firms and as the managing partner of her own firm, Natalie brings a broad understanding of the varying perspectives of her clients. Natalie’s keen understanding of business provides her clients with the ability to protect, maintain, leverage, and enforce their intellectual property assets in a manner that supports the overall strategic goals of the organization, while simultaneously reducing risk.
Natalie effectively and efficiently guides clients through the process to select and clear trademarks; protect and enforce copyrights; resolve domain name disputes; review and advise on digital and print advertising and social media campaigns; enforce trademark assets through Trademark Trial & Appeal Board oppositions, cancellations, and in federal court; and leverage IP assets through consent, licensing, sponsorship, and settlement agreements.
Natalie’s practice also involves matters concerning right of publicity, false advertising claims, and domain name disputes before WIPO and the National Arbitration Forum. She has represented large, multinational corporations and small manufacturers and retailers in a broad range of diverse industries, including emerging markets such as the cannabis industry.
In addition to her extensive experience in intellectual property, Natalie has assisted clients in general business and technology contracts including master service contracts, Software-as-a-Service contracts, subscription agreements, and consulting agreements. Natalie also holds certifications in data privacy and has experience in incident response and cybersecurity matters.
