Linna T. Loangkote
Linna Loangkote is an Associate in Clark Hill’s Litigation practice group. She has experience in complex, insurance coverage, public entity, real estate, construction defect, and professional liability litigation. Prior to joining Clark Hill, Linna represented many large and high-profile companies and public entities, providing her the skills to effectively and efficiently resolve cases on their behalf.
Linna earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Riverside in 2007 and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2012. While in law school, she served as senior production editor of The Hastings Law Journal and senior notes editor of The Hastings Science & Technology Journal. Her published note, Fashioning a New Look in Intellectual Property: Sui Generis Protection for the Innovative Designer, 63 Hastings L.J. 297 (2011), was cited by Witkin’s Summary of California Law (10th ed.) and lauded for providing a unique solution to the legal gaps in the intellectual property framework for fashion design.
Linna served as a judicial extern to the Honorable S. James Otero in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California and to the Honorable Barry Russell for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.
As a native Californian, Linna has always been an engaged member of the Los Angeles community. She is a member of the Junior League of Los Angeles and current advisor and corporation board member for the local collegiate chapters of Delta Gamma. For five years, she also served as a junior board member and chair of a national non-profit organization that provides programming for preschool children from under-resourced communities.
