Lauren C. Lipin
Lauren C. Lipin assists local governments, universities, and government contractors by analyzing and researching policy issues, building relationships with Congressional and agency staff, and advocating for their needs.
Lauren has several years of government relations experience from her work at a DC-based lobbying firm. Lauren’s experience includes working with Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger of Maryland’s 2nd district where she served as his Military Legislative Assistant. In this role, she assisted with handling policy issues for the National Defense Authorizations for fiscal years 2012 and 2013 while Congressman Ruppersberger was a member of the Armed Services Committee.
Additionally, Lauren worked jointly with the Congressman’s professional staff members of House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on space and cyber policy. She also advocated for the needs of two major military installations and the numerous defense contractors that reside in Maryland’s 2nd district.
