Lane E. Webb has substantial experience in the defense of claims arising from the inhalation, ingestion and dermal exposures to carbon monoxide, benzene, silica, asbestos, commercial cleaning products containing chlorophenols, hydrogen sulfide, mold, fiberglass, mercury, lead, calcium carbonates, medical imaging contrast dyes, commercial pesticides, as well as other environmental contaminants.
Lane has defended mass tort environmental claims involving claims of “sick building” syndrome across the United States involving hospitals & medical facilities, court houses, high rise apartment and condominium buildings and state and government buildings. This includes the defense of claims involving cocidioidomycosis (Valley Fever) blastomyces (Gilchrist Disease) as well as Legionella pneumophilia (Legionnaire’s Disease). He also has a depth of experience with automobile manufacturers and the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, including trials.
He handles the defense of such claims throughout California and the United States. He has tried many matters to verdict. He currently serves as National Monitoring Counsel for several major insurance carriers. In this capacity he has been admitted pro hac in over 20 states to assist local counsel with the defense of such claims.
