Kathleen M. Johnson
Kathleen M. Johnson is a Paralegal in the Personal Legal Services Group in Clark Hill’s Pittsburgh office. Her duties include drafting estate planning documents, preparing individual, trust and estate income tax returns, and assisting executors with estate administration.
Kathleen was actively involved in the Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Legal Secretaries Associations from 1973 through 1984, serving on various committees and serving in various offices, including President of the Pittsburgh chapter. She was elected legal secretary of the year in 1978 and earned her Professional Legal Secretary certification through the National Legal Secretaries Association in 1978.
She attended Keene Teachers College (now Keene State) in Keene, New Hampshire, and earned her paralegal certificate through Penn State University in 1978. Her working career began in 1962 and her legal career began in 1969 when she worked for a law firm in New Haven, Connecticut. She was employed by Thorp Reed & Armstrong from 1970 until her retirement in 2010. Thereafter she worked part-time for Thorp Reed & Armstrong and continues doing so for Clark Hill.
