Harlene Kennedy is a multifaceted broad-based transactional lawyer, specializing in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex real estate and other corporate transactions.
Much of Harlene’s career to date has focused on representing and negotiating with government agencies and complying with applicable local and federal regulation. Harlene has special expertise in real estate, transportation, public-private partnerships (P3’s), finance and technology transactions, as well as complex commercial contracting matters.
Harlene assists cities and other local governments, developers, borrowers and lenders, all types of corporate entities, and private entrepreneurial parties document their deals. She is a people-person, team player and adept at resolving conflict between the parties and reaching a reasonable position for all. She is the ultimate deal-maker and problem solver.
Harlene accomplishes her client’s goals by helping the client explore and structure their transaction. She does this by a quick grasp of the related industries, understanding the various goals and leverage points of the parties, assisting with her client’s strategies and positions and reflecting the desired end result in the appropriate documents, without an overload of expense and legal jargon.
