Grace K. Noe counsels primary and excess insurance carriers on a variety of complex disputes involving general liability, professional liability and regulatory matters.
In doing so, she advises insurers on fraud and abuse laws including federal, state or local Stark, Anti-Kickback, or False Claims Act violations. Grace also analyzes risk within healthcare systems across the country to assess overall exposure to international reinsurers under various reinsurance contracts by drawing on past litigation experiences. Within the healthcare industry, Grace’s litigation background includes defending medical professionals and health care providers. Grace also provides guidance to reinsurance clients on liquidation procedures in multiple states concerning the insolvency of risk retention groups.
She also worked as an intern at the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation where she provided free legal services to low-income residents in Central and Southern Illinois. During this internship, Grace represented victims of domestic violence in court on various family law matters.
