Grace K. Noe
Grace K. Noe is an Associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance practice group. She brings a strong litigation background and has defended medical professionals, nursing homes and health care providers, as well as other professionals outside of the medical community. She has successfully obtained arbitration awards on behalf of her clients, and has drafted and argued successful motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. As part of her practice, she advises primary and excess insurance carriers on a variety of complex disputes involving general liability, professional liability and regulatory liability matters. Additionally, Grace reviews and analyzes healthcare systems across the country in order to assess risk among the programs.
While attending law school, Grace was a member of the University of Illinois College of Law National Moot Court Team, and she ultimately became an Editor of Competition for the program. She also worked as an intern at the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation where she provided free legal services to low-income residents in Central and Southern Illinois. During this internship, Grace represented victims of domestic violence in court on various family law matters.
Grace also received a pro bono notation from the University of Illinois College of Law and was a member of the Phi Sigma Theta National Honors Society.
