- Succeeded in the defense of multibillion-dollar claims against the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy estate, including successful opposition to motions to transfer of mortgage put-back claims filed in New York, securing dismissals of collateral actions in the states of Colorado, Texas, and Utah, as well as victory at trial in 2018.
- Led successful opposition on behalf of financial institution to class certification of putative class members involving an alleged kickback scheme to institution’s subsidiaries.
- Led all aspects of discovery and preparation of crossclaims in class action involving alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, fraudulent inducement, breach of contract, and indemnification claims.
- Succeeded in obtaining three separate successful dismissals of breach of contract and employment retaliation claims by the same litigants.
- Succeeded in securing favorable settlement of benefit disputes for public pension system in Denver District Court.
- Represented global insurance company’s subsidiary before FINRA on claims against former financial brokers for breach of restrictive covenants, trade secrets violations, and electronic fraud.
- Successful representation, including alternative dispute resolution, of an international company CEO in an internal investigation.
- Succeeded in representation of low-bono representation of private individual on claims for breach of contract and warranty against local car dealership that resulted in a favorable settlement.
