Courtney L. Rosenau is an Associate in the Litigation group in Clark Hill's Detroit office. Prior to joining the firm, Courtney was a Summer Associate, where she second-chaired a pro bono trial in front of the Honorable Arthur J. Tarnow of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Courtney graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University Law School where she attended as a Board of Governors’ Scholar. Additionally, Courtney received the “Best Brief” award during her first year of law school and was awarded both the Gold Key and Silver Key Certificates for high academic achievement, and the Pro Bono Award for service to the community.
In law school, Courtney completed a federal judicial internship for the Honorable Judge Judith E. Levy at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also served as President of the Women’s Law Caucus and Articles Editor for the Journal of Law in Society. Courtney developed her trial skills as an active member of the school’s National Mock Trial Team where she participated in multiple competitions including the Texas Young Lawyers Association regional competition, in which she was a finalist.
