Brian R. Della Rocca
Brian R. Della Rocca serves as Senior Counsel to the Tax & Estate Planning group. He concentrates his practice and efforts to helping clients in a wide range of matters including complex estate, trust and tax planning, asset protection, business succession, estate and trust administration, estate and trust litigation, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. Brian has more than 15 years of experience in tax and estate planning.
Brian frequently speaks about estate and tax issues to audiences including other estate and trust attorneys, financial advisors, and certified public accountants. He has been quoted in articles about estate planning published in Money Magazine and the Journal of Financial Planning.
Brian is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland. Brian has an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been acknowledged by Super Lawyers Magazine since 2009. He was recognized in the July/August 2018 issue of Bethesda Magazine, a local publication, as an estate planning rising star.
Brian received his J.D. degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, an LL.M. degree in Taxation with a Certificate in Employee Benefits from the Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. degree from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
In his free time, Brian chairs the Marketing and Development Committee of the St. Elizabeth Catholic School Advisory Board and serves on the executive committee for the Lido Civic Club of Washington, DC.
