Ayssa J. Palacios assists with a wide range of federal tax controversy and litigation matters at all stages before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and federal courts.

Ayssa advises both individuals and businesses in federal, state, and international tax planning and controversy matters, including income, employment, and excise tax considerations. Taxpayers seek Ayssa’s experience in resolving issues at the administrative level for taxpayers in IRS examination or collection status, including negotiating pre-assessment modifications, installment agreements, offers in compromise, and requests for collection due process relief.

Ayssa also helps clients with offshore tax compliance issues, including providing advice regarding the IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP), Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR), and tax treaty issues.
