Andrew "Drew" Barrios

Associate

Andrew (“Drew”) Barrios is an Associate in the firm's Litigation group, located in the Chicago office.  Drew is an experienced litigator who represents individual and commercial clients in state and federal court throughout the country. He has experience handling every phase of litigation, from emergency injunctions through trial and appeal. Drew's litigation practice includes a range of substantive areas, including contract and business tort disputes, financial services litigation, class action defense, consumer lawsuits involving breach of warranty and deceptive trade practices claims, product liability, construction litigation, admiralty and maritime, and personal injury defense.

Drew is also a member of Clark Hill's Cybersecurity, Data Protection & Privacy team.  In this capacity, Drew advises businesses in a broad range of industries on data protection and privacy laws.  He has significant experience responding to data breaches, guiding clients through this trying time by coordinating forensic investigations, determining notification obligations, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  Drew also assists clients with a variety of matters in the post-breach context, including regulatory investigations and private disputes involving post-breach contractual rights and obligations.  On the more corporate end, Drew counsels clients on data privacy laws and regulations by developing data breach response plans and drafting privacy policies and terms of use.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Drew worked at a large Chicago law firm, where he practiced complex commercial litigation.  Drew also previously worked as an in-house attorney at a Houston-based construction company.
