Andrew C. Maher
Andrew C. Maher has extensive experience as bond counsel and special counsel for a wide variety of clients including school districts, municipalities, universities, municipal authorities, state agencies, counties, healthcare systems, and other governmental and 501(c)(3) entities. With 13 years of experience, he has overseen the structuring and closing of multiple series of taxable and tax-exempt municipal securities in both public and private offerings.
Andrew has also served as disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel for issuers and financial institutions issuing/underwriting the purchase and sale of municipal securities. As trustee counsel, he has negotiated trust indentures, escrow agreements and advised corporate trust clients on affairs regarding the administration of existing financings.
He supports clients with matters concerning federal and state law questions related to the issuance of securities and corporate and banking matters.
Andrew earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
