Tax and Estate Planning  Paralegal – Chicago, IL

Clark Hill PLC is seeking a paralegal with 7+ years of experience to join the Tax & Estate Planning business unit in our Chicago office. Strong candidates will have extensive tax preparation experience, particularly with 1120S, 1065, and complex 1040/1041 forms. Experience with tax preparation on CCH ProSystem fx as well as experience in a high volume tax practice are preferred. Responsibilities will include preparing 709 and 706 forms, probate and trust administration paperwork, and simple estate plans and ancillary documents.  All candidates should possess excellent computer skills, high-level attention to detail, and superior written and oral communication skills.  Qualified candidates should be able to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, or CPA will be considered.

Surety Paralegal – Collin County, TX

Clark Hill Strasburger is looking for an experienced paralegal in our Fidelity & Surety Business Unit for our Collin County office. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years’ experience in a heavy litigation environment. Experience in construction and/or insurance litigation will be a plus. Responsibilities for this role include drafting routine correspondence and legal documents; preparing pleadings and subpoenas; responding to discovery requests and e-discovery; and collecting, organizing and reviewing records. Candidates should be proficient in Relativity, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be able to learn new programs as they are introduced. Immigration Paralegal – Detroit, MI 

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an experienced paralegal to join the Immigration Practice Group in our Detroit, MI. office. Strong candidates will be familiar with the procedures governing family-based immigration, consular processing, asylum, removal defense, and electronic case filing with U.S. federal courts (preferred). Responsibilities will include preparing filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and immigration court, communicating with clients, completing forms, gathering facts and evidence to support our clients’ applications and motions, drafting declarations, and more. Immigration Paralegal - San Francisco, CA

Clark Hill PLC is seeking a Paralegal with at least 1-2 years of experience to join the Immigration Practice Group in our San Francisco office. Strong candidates will be familiar with the procedures governing employment-based immigration.  Experience with several of the following types of cases is preferred: physician J-1 waiver applications, H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140 petitions, I-485 applications (including those related to I-130 petitions), and N-400 applications. Responsibilities will include preparing filings for submission to USCIS and state departments of health, communicating with clients, completing forms, gathering documentation to support our clients’ applications, and more. All candidates should possess excellent computer skills, high-level attention to detail, and superior written and oral communication skills.
