Veteran Real Estate Attorney Donald A. Shindler Joins Clark Hill Chicago
CHICAGO, IL – Donald A. Shindler serves as Senior Counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office.
Shindler focuses his practice in the area of real estate and corporate transactions. He counsels clients regarding real estate acquisitions and sales, development, financing, restructuring and workouts, hotel and hospitality, leasing, management, construction and energy transactions. He has represented numerous institutional, corporate, and entrepreneurial entities.
Shindler has spoken extensively before Bar and industry groups in connection with real estate matters and has written articles on real estate subjects. He has been selected as an Illinois Leading Lawyer in the practice categories of Real Estate Finance and Real Estate — Commercial. He has been selected to Illinois Super Lawyers in Real Estate, as the result of research projects conducted jointly by Law & Politics and Chicago magazines and has been selected for listing in The International Who's Who of Real Estate Lawyers.
Additionally, he was elected President-Elect of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys in September 2014 and also serves on the Emeritus Board of Feeding America, the premier national hunger relief organization.
Following law school, Shindler served on active duty as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps in Norfolk VA and Newport RI and thereafter he spent time at several major Chicago law firms.
