Prominent White-Collar Litigator Ted Planzos Joins Clark Hill's Washington DC Office
WASHINGTON, DC – Nationally recognized white-collar defense attorney Sotiris “Ted” Planzos has joined Clark Hill's growing Washington, DC office as a Member in the firm's Litigation Practice Group.
Planzos has served as Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section at the US Department of Justice, and prior to that as senior counsel in the SEC Division of Enforcement, where he investigated and prosecuted cases involving insider trading, market manipulation and financial fraud.
Planzos now specializes in white-collar defense matters involving criminal and civil securities enforcement, complex financial fraud, money laundering, grand jury and Congressional inquiries, parallel proceedings, criminal and civil RICO, corporate compliance and trial practice. He also counsels corporations and individuals in compliance matters, including Sarbanes-Oxley, the USA PATRIOT Act, and conducts internal investigations.

Planzos earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law and B.A. from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
