Mike Boland and Dan Graham to Present at The Masters Conference on e-Discovery Panels
CHICAGO, IL –
Mike Boland and Dan Graham will present at The Masters Conference on “The Social Media (R)evolution: How Social Media Content Impacts e-Discovery Risks and Costs” and “Cloud Computing & Mobile Devices: How to be Prepared for Litigation” on Wednesday, May 28 at the Metropolitan Club of Chicago.
Boland will cover how best to develop sound social media policies while navigating the waters of compliance, corporate regulations, and attorney ethics. The panel will examine how pervasive social media truly is, while discussing how to develop strong policies without going too deep or taking on too much risk. The presentation will also touch on where social media is now, where it will be heading, and the importance of creating strong policies.
Graham will cover they ways in which corporations have been putting significant effort into increasing workforce productivity through mobile devices and optimizing infrastructure through Cloud storage of ESI. While these technologies are designed to save costs and enable employees to work from any location, they also may increase litigation risk and cost. The presentation will discuss the litigation pitfalls that may arise and methodologies that can help avoid those issues.
