GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Litigation attorney Sean P. Fitzgerald has joined Clark Hill PLC as a Member in the firm’s Grand Rapids office, announced local Member-in-Charge, Ingrid Jensen.

Fitzgerald represents financial institutions in both loan transactions and complex workouts in federal and state court actions. Admitted to all courts in Michigan and Illinois, plus privileges at numerous Federal District Courts in the United States, Fitzgerald’s 31 years of practicing law has given him an array of experience in several areas of business/corporate transactions and complex commercial litigation, including Ponzi schemes, receiverships, and commercial breach of contract issues. He has also been involved in joint venture transactions, franchise transactions and hotel purchases.
Fitzgerald has closed transactions in amounts of up to $350 million, covering collateral in multiple states. Clients and opposing counsel alike know him as a tough competitor, someone who strives to maintain his ethics and integrity when representing clients.
