J. William Eshelman Joins Clark Hill’s Government Contracts Practice
Clark Hill announced today that J. William Eshelman has joined the firm’s Washington, DC office as Senior Counsel in the Government & Public Affairs Practice with an emphasis on Government Contracts issues. Eshelman has over 30 years experience working for or with the government. He focuses his practice on representation of federal contractors and subcontractors involved in contracts with civilian and defense agencies (including aerospace), as well as issues involving federal grant and loan beneficiaries.
Eshelman has done extensive work with contract issues involving formation, administration, and termination issues. He counsels companies on all aspects of compliance programs and handles internal investigations, voluntary disclosures, organizational and individual conflicts of interest, procurement integrity, foreign military sales, foreign military financing, trade regulation, export administration, business ethics, and civil fraud issues. Eshelman works with contractors and federal agencies to resolve issues before they necessitate claims and litigation. When necessary, he regularly represents clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Additionally, Eshelman works with Congress and relevant staff on legislative issues affecting government contractors.

Eshelman received his J.D. from Samford University, LL.M. from The George Washington University Law School (in Government Procurement Law) and A.B. from The University of Alabama. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Alabama, as well as to practice before various Federal Courts and Administrative Agencies.
