Former Obama Administration Official Tom Kelly Joins Clark Hill's Government and Public Affairs Team

Tom Kelly, longtime aide to President Barack Obama, has joined Clark Hill as a Director of Government Affairs in the firm’s growing Washington, D.C. office. Drawing on over a decade of political and public service experience, Kelly advises clients with a variety of strategic legislative, executive branch and political needs. 

Kelly began his service to Obama on the Obama for US Senate campaign in 2003 and most recently served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Domestic Policy Council. He has also held positions at the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. As Deputy Director of the Auto Recovery Office at the DOL, he helped distressed communities identify federal support for their recovery strategy. Kelly has served as a staffer and consultant on several political campaigns including Barack Obama’s Senate and Presidential races.

Kelly earned a B.A. from DePaul University, an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford and an M.P.A. from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
