Experienced Municipal Law Attorney Joseph W. Colaianne Joins Clark Hill’s Lansing Office
Lansing, MI – Joseph W. Colaianne has joined Clark Hill’s Education and Municipal Practice Group in the firm’s Lansing office.
Colaianne is an attorney with over 20 years’ experience in municipal and public sector law. His legal experience includes managing multiple and complex projects with conflicting priorities, real estate acquisitions, environmental issues, construction litigation and the finance of public works projects.
In the area of municipal law, Colaianne counsels clients in matters of Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act compliance, and general municipal governance. He has practiced before the federal and state courts, and administrative agencies.
Prior to joining the Clark Hill team, Colaianne served as corporation counsel for the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, and as counsel and insurance administrator for the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner. He has extensive experience with public works projects.
