Ethics & Professional Responsibility Attorney Frances A. Rosinski Joins Clark Hill Detroit
DETROIT, MI – Frances A. Rosinski has joined Clark Hill’s Detroit office as Senior Counsel in the Litigation and Professional Ethics & Risk Management Practice Groups. Most recently an attorney with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, she now focuses on the defense of attorney grievance matters and risk management consulting. She also serves in Clark Hill's Office of General Counsel, facilitating the evaluation and assessment of conflicts for the firm.
“We are excited to have Fran join us. Her rich background bolsters our litigation practice as well as expands the firm’s risk management and ethics consulting services to continue adding top-tier value to our clients,” said Tom Dixon, Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. “Fran’s wealth of experience provides us with a unique opportunity to serve attorneys and businesses in ethics and reputation management.”
Prior to joining Clark Hill, Rosinski was Senior Associate Counsel at the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission where she practiced exclusively in legal ethics and professional responsibility. For 20 years, she was responsible for investigating and prosecuting allegations of attorney misconduct. During her tenure at the Commission, Rosinski was an active member of the National Organization of Bar Counsel (NOBC) Program Committee on which she served as program editor of the organization’s programming. She also served as a faculty member in the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) litigation program specially designed for the NOBC. Through her practice at the Commission and her work with the NOBC, Rosinski became highly experienced in reviewing law office management practices and policies, all of which impact the assessment of ethical violations and attorney disciplinary matters.
At Clark Hill, Rosinski is using her background and experience to provide attorneys with legal counsel and representation in professional liability and attorney grievance matters as well as representation in reinstatement petitions, and character and fitness proceedings. She also offers ethics consulting to small and mid-sized law firms to improve efficiency and mitigate the risk of ethical violations.
Rosinski is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, a Character and Fitness panel member with Michigan’s Board of Law Examiners, and a Supreme Court Administrative Office (SCAO)-trained facilitative mediator. Active in the Detroit Bar Association, she participates as a master in its Inns of Court. Rosinski is a member of the Michigan State Bar and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts of Michigan.
Rosinski is a graduate of Albion College and Wayne State University Law School, where she was awarded a research fellowship to the University of Warwick School of Law in Warwick, England.
