Clark Hill’s Latasha R. Thomas Joined Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle, Chicago Mayoral Candidate, for LGBTQ Roundtable

CHICAGO, IL – Latasha R. Thomas, Senior Counsel in Clark Hill’s Government and Public Affairs Practice Group, appeared alongside Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle, Chicago Mayoral Candidate, for a roundtable discussion on LGBTQ issues in the City of Chicago, January 7, 2019. The discussion, which took place in Clark Hill’s Chicago office, covered current LGBTQ concerns pertinent to the Chicago community, such as HIV/AIDS, LGBT youth and seniors, as well as issues facing the trans community.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Latasha was a four-term Alderman on the Chicago City Council.  She is also the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for Coordinated Advice and Referral Programs for Legal Services (CARPLS), an organization providing legal aid services to low income residents in Cook County.
