Clark Hill West Michigan Attorneys Grant T. Pecor and Nicole Paterson to Present at Health Care Association of Michigan's Spring Leadership Conference, March 21

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.

– Clark Hill attorneys Grant Pecor and Nicole Paterson, will present at the Health Care Association of Michigan’s Spring Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids, March 21. Pecor and Paterson will present on two separate topics at this year’s conference. The first presentation, “NLRB’s New Regulatory Requirements,” will discuss recent trends and decisions by the National Labor Relations Board, including the new National Labor Relations Act posting and election rules. The second presentation, “2012 Employment Law Update,” will discuss employment law trends covering employment discrimination and harassment, Family Medical Leave Act, pregnancy discrimination, and proposed state and federal regulations in employment law. The conference provides executive-level education to promote enhanced leadership, management, and standards of center and facility operations.

Pecor is a member in Clark Hill’s Labor and Employment practice group out of Grand Rapids. His practice group involves all areas of labor and employment and focuses on the representation of private sector entities, including health care, municipal entities, transit authorities and manufacturing clients. Pecor is a member of the Health Care Association of Michigan’s Legal Regulatory Committee.

Paterson is an associate in Clark Hill’s Labor and Employment practice group out of Grand Rapids. Her areas of focus include defending employers before the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as advising employers on employment matters such as disciplinary matters, and handbook and policy reviews.

Health Care Association of Michigan is the premier professional association representing nursing and rehabilitation communities. It provides support, information and advocacy on behalf of its members and represents close to 300 nursing facilities. The Spring Leadership Conference is an annual event that addresses the most urgent and emergent issues surrounding leadership, legal and regulatory, and reimbursement and finance factors.
