Clark Hill to Sponsor MEMA’s Legislative Summit 2011 in Washington DC

DETROIT, MI

– Clark Hill sets its sight on fostering change as a sponsor of this year’s Motor & Equipment Manufacturer’s Association Legislative Summit. The annual event, which drew in more than 120 CEOs and senior executives to discuss policy changes last year, will be held at the Sofitel Lafayette Square on March 2-3.

MEMA’s ultimate goal for its members is to incite a call-to-action for industry priorities such as technology neutral energy policies, heavy-duty safety technology tax incentives, a national safety inspections program, and the supplier industry’s position on “card check” and other employee benefits legislation. This event serves as a platform for law makers to recognize what policy changes are most significant to parts suppliers during these distressed economic times.
