U.S. News – Best Lawyers,
“Best Law Firms.” The first tier includes the firms in each metropolitan area that scored within a certain percentage of the highest-scoring firms. In addition to Clark Hill’s Tier 1 ranking for product liability litigation, the firm also received a national Tier 2 ranking for construction law and a national Tier 3 ranking for bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, corporate law, employment law (management), immigration law, and litigation (construction).
National rankings are based on metropolitan rankings in addition to the number of offices each firm had with a metropolitan ranking and the level of legal activity in each metropolitan area. The “Best Law Firms” rankings themselves are determined by client and lawyer evaluations, and peer review, as well as any additional relevant information there may be. The evaluations address expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to the firm.
