Clark Hill PLC Attorneys Timothy M. Koltun and Paul S. Magy at the AECRE Fall Forum 2012 in Chicago, Nov. 8 and 9
DETROIT, MICH.
– Clark Hill PLC attorneys Timothy M. Koltun and Paul S. Magy will play key roles at the International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate’s (AECRE) Fall Forum, Nov. 8-9, in Chicago. Koltun is the AECRE Fall Forum 2012 chairman and a director on the board for AECRE. As chairman, Koltun assisted with speaker selection and logistics surrounding the forum. Magy will present on the Nov. 9, panel, “Capital Markets: Where Are We and Where Are We Headed?” The panel will discuss the current state of real estate capital markets and share views of what’s to come – specifically, how are lenders and borrowers dealing with single-purpose entity covenants and are real estate lenders tightening or loosening other covenants in real estate financing deals?
Koltun is a member in Clark Hill’s Detroit office and the leader of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His extensive experience in real estate law includes sales, acquisition, development, and leasing of residential, retail, office, industrial and hotel projects. In addition, Koltun has significant experience in forming limited liability companies, and drafting and negotiating operating agreements for real estate projects. He is named in

Magy is based in Clark Hill’s Birmingham office and also is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. He possesses extensive commercial real estate experience, which includes acquisition, development, finance, zoning, leasing and sale of commercial real estate, in addition to litigation experience in receiverships, distressed assets and retailer bankruptcy. Magy is an active member of a number of community organizations, including president of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Metropolitan Detroit and member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He was awarded ICSC’s highest honor, the Trustees Distinguished Service Award, and is currently chair of Michigan’s ICSC Continuing Education Program for Real Estate Professionals.
