This half day seminar, organized by The Alternative Finance Bar Association, explores the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) strong initiatives to regulate small business lending, evidenced by the Request for Information (RFI) from stakeholders, targeted research of the industry and future Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) supervisory examinations. Brooks, Luxton and Needleman will examine the ways the CFPB plans to exercise their authority and what the industry can do to prepare and confront those proposals.
