Clark Hill PLC Senior Attorney, Jeremy S. Motz, will present a webinar on the “Fundamentals of School Purchasing” on December 5, 2013. This presentation, will cover the basics of performing school purchasing functions, such as: applicable Michigan laws, the structure of a purchasing operations, electronic and cooperative purchasing, public bidding issues, reviewing contracts, lease-purchase options, and “partnerships.” This is part of the webinar series hosted by the Michigan Institute for Educational Management (MIEM). Motz is a senior attorney in the Birmingham office of Clark Hill PLC and is a member of the Education and Municipal Law Group. He principally focuses his practice in the areas of education, construction and real estate law, assisting public and private sector entities in a wide variety of transactional matters.
