Clark Hill PLC Attorney Dana L. Abrahams Elected President-Elect of the Michigan Council of School Attorneys
BIRMINGHAM, MICH.
– Clark Hill PLC attorney Dana L. Abrahams was recently appointed president-elect of the Michigan Council of School Attorneys (MCSA) for the 2012-2013 fiscal year by the MCSA Nominating Committee and a unanimous vote from the MCSA board. MCSA is the only statewide organization composed exclusively of attorneys representing Michigan school boards and the main influencer on education issues at the state level. In addition, Abrahams will present on purchasing and bidding issues to the Macomb/St. Clair Facilities Managers’ Group, Nov. 15, as part of its monthly meetings to discuss issues and hot topics effecting school districts.
Abrahams is a member of Clark Hill’s Birmingham office where she focuses her practice in a number of areas, including education law, municipal law and construction law. She has extensive experience representing Michigan school district clients in all aspects of public school law and has presented for both the Michigan School Business Officials and the Michigan Institute for Educational Management.
