Clark Hill Paralegal Valerie J. Lawver to Present at Institute for Paralegal Education Probate Seminar in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 9, 2016

Lansing, MI – Clark Hill Paralegal Valerie J. Lawver will present two sections at the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE) seminar titled “The Probate Process From Start to Finish for Paralegals” in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 9, 2016. The first section titled “How to File an Estate in Probate Court” Lawver will discuss distinctions between modest and large Estates, the Estate timetable and steps for proving and challenging the Will. The second section titled “Administration of the Estate” Lawver will discuss dealing with creditors’ claims, disclaimers, assisting with the Estate cash management, insolvency and preparing partial distributions.  

Lawver is a paralegal in the Construction Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Lansing office. She has 24 years of experience as a paralegal in the areas of construction law, corporate law, family law, criminal law, probate and litigation. Lawver is certified with the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
