Clark Hill Members John Hern, Reginald M. Turner, and Linda M. Watson Elected to Clark Hill PLC Executive Committee
Detroit, MI – Clark Hill members John Hern, Reginald M. Turner, and Linda M. Watson have been elected to serve on the Executive Committee of Clark Hill PLC, firm COO Phil Ross announced this month.
Hern, Turner, and Watson will begin a three year term effective January 1, 2016. Serving as the governing board of the firm, the Executive Committee creates and implements strategic policies and initiatives to further create high-level client services and the success of the firm. Committee members are elected by member vote and there are seven total members.
Hern serves as Clark Hill’s Chief Executive Officer. In the past twelve years of his leadership, Hern has served on a team which has grown Clark Hill to an AmLaw 200 firm with over 300 attorneys in twelve offices nationwide. He continues to receive the approval of his peers to lead and grow Clark Hill.
Turner is a highly skilled litigator and lobbyist. He is named in the peer review guides The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers®, DBusiness Top Lawyers, and Crain’s Detroit Business Power Lawyers. He has successfully litigated labor, employment, commercial and public policy matters in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. His experience includes successful defense of class action cases in state and federal courts. As an experienced lobbyist, Turner advocates for clients at the local, state and federal levels. He was recently identified by Crain’s as one of Detroit’s most connected business leaders.
Watson is a talented litigator and business advisor. She has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer in business litigation and listed as one of the Top 25 Women Business Attorneys in Michigan. She has successfully litigated complex business and commercial disputes, representing small to large privately-held business entities, as well as public corporations both at the trial and appellate levels of federal and state courts. In addition, she has been retained in numerous matters to serve as a mediator, arbitrator and discovery master. She serves as Co-chair of the Automotive & Manufacturing Practice Group, Co-chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and manages the litigation team located in the Birmingham office.
