Clark Hill is Proud to Honor the Memory of Bon Foster
CHICAGO, IL –
Clark Hill is a proud sponsor, for the fourth consecutive year, of an event which honors the late civil rights activist and attorney who was an outspoken opponent of injustice and challenged others to demand the best for themselves. Bon Foster 2014 is hosted by Lambda Legal and will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Art Institute of Chicago Modern Wing.
Clark Hill attorney Ray J. Koenig, along with his partner Johnny Song and Chicago Cubs co-owner Laura Ricketts, are theco-chairs of the event. The evening celebrates the legal wins of the past year and moves the nation closer to the promise of equality. Guests will enjoy a theatre program, buffet dinner, and an open bar reception.
Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of LGBT people and those with living HIV through impact legislation, education and public policy work. Launched as the Bon Foster Memorial Lecture Series in 1994, the event has grown to become one of the Lambda Legal’s major fundraising events nationwide.
Koenig is the Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office, a member of Clark Hill’s Executive Committee, and a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning, and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
