Clark Hill Director of Government Affairs Peter Dugas Quoted in Fox Business News and CNBC on Bitcoin Regulation

May 14, 2013

Washington, DC

– Clark Hill Director of Government Affairs, Peter Dugas, was quoted by both Fox News and CNBC on possible bitcoin regulation – explaining how the digital online currency could face regulation as it emerges from a cyber world into potentially legitimate currency.

Dugas, former deputy assistant Treasury secretary, explained the status of the bitcoin situation, as well as provided analysis of possible future developments.

“It’s not mature enough for the U.S. government or other regulators to take a serious look,” Dugas was quoted as saying. “As it grows in other countries, whether in Europe or Asia or other localities, they may start to look at this as a serious way to transact currencies.”
